The end, also nicknamed Center of the Earth is a large hole in the middle of the courtyard. Once children make it through the door they find themselves looking down into complete darkness. A long board has been fitted at one end and stretches out to the hole’s exact center. This is the long walk the Discarded must take. Little do they know a portal is open to bring them to safety.
